Billing Services Group Limited (‘BSG’ or the ‘Company’) Board Changes

 

(August 13, 2010) San Antonio, Texas  -  BSG (AIM: BILL), a leading provider of clearing, settlement, payment and financial risk management solutions to the telecommunications industry, today announces the appointment of Thomas Henry Richter as a non-executive director of the Company effective August 12, 2010. Mr. Richter will serve on the Board’s audit and nomination committees and, in the case of the audit committee, act as the chairman.

Mr. Richter, 59 years of age, is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants with over 35 years of experience.

Mr. Richter graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in 1972, and joined Ernst & Young LLP, becoming a partner of that firm in 1984 until his retirement in 2009. Mr. Richter’s practice involved auditing financial statements and providing consulting services. From December 2000 to March 2009, Mr. Richter was the partner of Ernst & Young responsible for the provision of audit services to BSG and its predecessor entities.

BSG also announces that Mr. J. Alan Lindauer has retired from the Board for health reasons effective August 12, 2010. Mr. Lindauer served as a non-executive member of the Board, a member of the nominating committee and chair of the audit committee from 2005 until his retirement.

No further information regarding the appointment of Mr. Richter to the Board is required to be disclosed under Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
