Global clearinghouse continues to expand presence in the Asia Pacific region
RUSSELSHEIM, GERMANY — August 7, 2007 - BSG Clearing Solutions, (BSG), a subsidiary of Billing Services Group Limited (AIM:BILL), the telecom industry's clearing and settlement provider, today announced a new customer contract with mobile operator Warid Telecom Bangladesh. Under the agreement, BSG will manage data clearing for the company with options for value added services. The Warid Telecom agreement marks BSG's fifth new contract win in the Asia Pacific over the past six months.
Warid Telecom launched its Bangladesh operations in May 2007 and has already acquired more than one million subscribers within 70 days. The company also achieved 60 roaming partners within only 60 days of its commercial operation.
The company selected BSG's wireless data clearing services due to the high quality of service it can provide from one of its world class operations teams based in Hong Kong. Additionally, BSG's satellite offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur give the company a highly capable, local focus in the Asia Pacific region.
